<h2><a id="heading">Eat Less Calories</a></h2>
<p>It&#8217;s simple arithmetic, if you can burn up more calories than you eat in a day and you will lose weight. So here&#8217;s the first of my tips for losing weight: &#8211; reduce the number of calories you are taking in and get them below the amount of calories you burn in a day. This will be most effective for people who are physically active but will work for anyone.</p>
<h2><a id="heading">Eat Calories</a></h2>
<p>This is the reverse of the &#8220;eating less calories&#8221; tip: &#8211; by becoming more active you are burning more calories so even if you consume the same food as before you&#8217;re still burning more each day. For the best results in weight loss combine these two tips for losing weight, eating less calories and getting more daily exercise and you will quickly see the weight start to come off.</p>
<p>Eat better food<br />
a more healthy diet and more easily you will lose weight. Most of us tend to consume too many high fat, high calorie foods are not enough fruit and vegetables or eat enough fibre in our daily diet. Simple changes to your diet plan can give amazing results over a period of time. Plan your meals and stick to healthier foods and you will see the difference.</p>
<h3>Don&#8217;t skip meals</h3>
<p>Another important one of my tips for losing weight: &#8211; skipping meals is a very bad idea as it puts your body into &#8220;starvation mode&#8221; causing your metabolism to run slowly and so burn calories slower. Skipping breakfast is the worst thing to do here as by eating with an hour after you get up you get your metabolism up and running and consuming calories at the fastest rate. By skipping breakfast your metabolism will stay at the lower rate it uses for sleeping and consequently you may feel sluggish and will burn less calories.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t eat late at night<br />
By eating late at night apart from giving your body the extra calories and it doesn&#8217;t need you are also doing it the burden of digesting that food instead of repairing the wear and tear inflicted on it during the day&#8217;s activities. The last thing your system meets the full meal just before bed.</p>
<p>Eat smaller meals more often<br />
Another of my tips for losing weight: by eating five or so small meals a day rather than three big meals you help keep your body running at full calorie burning capacity all through the day. You will experience this yourselves, remember how sluggish you feel after a big Sunday dinner? So try to have meals at the same time each day breakfast, mid-morning snack, lunch, mid afternoon snack and dinner and your body will soon get used to this routine and work at maximum efficiency for losing weight.</p>
<p>So you can see from these tips for losing weight that by making some rather simple changes to your daily eating and activity habits you can lose that extra weight without having to go to extreme measures such as fad diets and brutal exercise regimes.</p>

<p>When it comes to eating a healthy diet then of course the basis is plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. However there is more to a well balanced diet than just this and you have to include a variety of other foods, minerals, vitamins and drink plenty of fresh water.</p>
<p>The ideal healthy diet would consist of including foods that consist of starchy foods. Foods which are rich in starch include pasta, rice and wholegrain bread. Protein should also be an essential part of any healthy diet and foods which contain high sources of protein include fish, eggs and meat. Just as important as eating the right types of food is to eat a variety of them. Eating a variety of foods is the only way to be sure that your body is getting all the nutrients it needs. While these foods should be included there are also foods which you should cut out or at least cut down on including saturated fat, salt and sugar.</p>
<p>When it comes to fruit and veg in a healthy diet then it is recommended to eat five portions per day. While fresh fruit is better you can include frozen fruit, juice, tinned and even dried fruits. Of course eating different fruit is essential and the amount of fruit and veg in your diet should account for around a third of the food you eat during a day. Getting your recommend portions of fruit and veg per day is not hard. For example you could mix dried fruit in with your favourite cereal for breakfast or drink a glass of pure juice with your wholemeal toast. When you fancy a snack then nibble on carrot sticks and serve a mixed salad with pasta for dinner.</p>
<p>Pasta, potatoes and rice are all good wholesome starchy foods and are an essential part of any healthy diet. Again about a third of your diet should consist of a mixture of foods which are rich in starch, when choosing rice and bread then wholegrain is the healthiest option. Foods rich in starch are essential when it comes to giving the body energy due to them being a main source of the nutrients which we need to remain healthy and fit. Many individuals are under the impression that foods consisting of starch are bad for you; this could be due to diets such as &#8220;low carb&#8221;. However this is untrue and not getting enough starch in your daily diet can be harmful.</p>
<p>Fibre is also essential in this and foods which contain fibre include oats, peas, beans and grain. A good mix of these is your daily diet is essential. Insoluble fibre is needed to keep the digestive system in working order and soluble fibre can help to lower the levels of cholesterol.</p>
<p>One thing which is very often overlooked when it comes to this is water. Water is essential to keeping the body hydrated and goes a long way to keeping the skin healthy and supple. You should aim to include about 1.2 litres of water in your diet everyday and if you are very active or during the summer months you should drink more.</p></div>

Once you are without a gall bladder, you will need to adjust your eating habits in order to accommodate for this change.</p>
<p>To understand how to maintain the right diet after gall bladder surgery, it is important to take a moment to understand how this important organ works and what causes problems in the gall bladder.</p>
<p><strong>How the Gall Bladder Works</strong></p>
<p>Your gall bladder is a pear-shaped, dark green sack that stores bile (made in the liver) until it is needed by your digestive system. When you eat certain fatty foods, the gall bladder is signaled by a hormone called CKK to start injecting bile into the small intestine to aid in the digestion of these fatty foods.</p>
<p><strong>Problems that Can Arise</strong></p>
<p>The gall bladder works hard to serve the body&#8217;s digestive system. But over time, it can develop certain problems in some people, including becoming irritated, swollen, blocked or full of stones. If any of these things occur and there is a chance the organ could burst, your doctor may recommend that it be removed completely.</p>
<p>Once the gall bladder has been removed, the digestive system tends to work less efficiently in how it digests fatty foods. While the liver is still able to produce bile, the digestive system no longer is able to keep a reserve of bile &#8220;on call&#8221; like it could before. The result: more problems digestive foods like meats and dairy products.</p>
<p><strong>Diet after Gall Bladder Surgery</strong></p>
<p>Eating the right diet after surgery is important to maintaining your health and your comfort during your daily life. Here are some diet tips for a more comfortable recovery:</p>
<p><strong>1. Each person&#8217;s reaction to surgery is unique:</strong></p>
<p>Any advice you receive from this article, other websites, medical professionals, or other patients applies to varying degrees to a range of people who are in different health situations, have different backgrounds, and follow different eating habits. The most important thing to remember is that your body is unique in how it acts and reacts after your surgery. Listen to your body the closest: that&#8217;s the best advice anyone can give you.</p>
<p><strong>2. Avoid fatty foods:</strong></p>
<p>After surgery, your body is no longer able to give your small intestine that extra dose of bile that it is used to. That means that digestion of fatty foods will take longer than before, since now your body will have to wait for the bile from the liver to aid in digestion. For at least a few weeks after surgery, stick with eating non-fatty foods like soy yogurt, cooked rice, low fat soup, and cooked fruits. Important: since the fatty foods you used to eat provided you with protein, you will need to get your protein in other ways. Beans and soy-based foods are an excellent source.</p>
<p><strong>3. Favor softer foods:</strong></p>
<p>The harder the food, the more work it takes for your body to digest it. Favor softer foods after surgery. For example, try pureed items like rice, vegetables and fruits.</p>
<p><strong>4. Give it time:</strong></p>
<p>Take everything one day at a time. For example, if and when you decide to start trying fatty foods again, take things very slowly. Eat just a little at a time and wait for the reaction. If you do not feel any cramps, indigestion or other issues after an hour or so, you may be able to safely venture a bit further in that direction.</p>
<p><strong>5. Understand that things may or may not return completely to normal:</strong></p>
<p>Remember that having your gall bladder removed changes your body&#8217;s systems and structures. Your body may end up adapting and adjusting entirely to your new situation where you don&#8217;t notice the difference after a while. Or, you may find that you have to permanently change your eating habits in order to eat comfortably. As you venture out into life after surgery, take things day by day and do not rush anything. Your body will give you clear signals (usually in the form of pain or discomfort) if you are pushing things too fast, too hard<br />

These are simple tips that all safe diets include in their plan. Read this short article now to start losing weight immediately.</p>
<p><strong>Safe Diets</strong></p>
<p>Your diet should include the following to be safe:</p>
<p>1- Drink lots of water</p>
<p>Water helps you lose weight because water is necessary for every bodily function. If you are dehydrated &#8211; you actually shut down your body&#8217;s organs from doing their job and you S-L-O-W down your metabolism to a crawl. Your daily intake should include at least 9-13 cups of water. Drink more if you exercise.</p>
<p>2- Avoid sodas (both regular and diet)</p>
<p>Soda is one of the worst things you can ingest. No weight loss plan that is good for you will allow you to drink soda. Dump that soda habit!</p>
<p>3- Avoid any food that contains high fructose corn syrup</p>
<p>Read your labels, folks, because high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is added to thousands of everyday processed foods. You will be shocked at all food that contain this damaging ingredient: ketchup, salad dressing, breakfast cereals, yogurt, 100 calorie snack packs, and more. HFCS makes you fatter &#8211; avoid it!</p>
<p>4- Eat more raw foods</p>
<p>Raw fruits and vegetables are powerful healthy weight loss foods. They have a high water content, great natural fiber and they are loaded with nutrients that your body needs to function well. The characteristics of raw foods naturally help you reach your ideal weight easily.</p>
<p>Avoid the fad diet foods and feed your body healthy foods found in safe diets and the weight will come off quick!</p></div>

<p>Now that you are pregnant one of the most important factors in having a healthy pregnancy will be your nutrition. While eating a well balanced diet is always a good idea in our daily lives, nutrition during pregnancy takes on an even more important role. Here are some tips to help you with your pregnancy diet.</p>
<p>There is no question that the healthier you eat during your pregnancy the better it is for your baby. Keep in mind that everything you eat will pass on to your baby, so if you are eating nutritious foods, your baby is getting the benefits of it. But, if you are eating a lot of fast food or junk foods, your baby is also doing the same thing.</p>
<p>Always start your day by eating breakfast. If you have morning sickness this can be a challenge at times, but there are ways around it. Eat something small such as a piece of fruit and a glass of milk. In fact, you might want to eat 4-6 small meals throughout the day instead of the usual 3 meals a day. This also helps in reducing the effects of heartburn and that bloated feeling you can often get during your pregnancy.</p>
<p>Eat the right foods. A pregnancy diet that includes foods such as milk, cheese and yogurt will provide you with much needed calcium and other vitamins and minerals. Cereals containing fiber are very beneficial and can help ease constipation.</p>
<p>Lean meats, poultry and fish will help give you much needed proteins to aid in maintaining muscles, enzymes and hormones.</p>
<p>You should also eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Green vegetables such as broccoli and green beans are excellent in providing nutrition during pregnancy. Other vegetables like sweet potatoes and carrots are great for your body. Finally, be sure you add in plenty of water during the day.</p>
<p>While a good pregnancy diet is a big key to a healthy pregnancy it doesn&#8217;t mean that you still can&#8217;t treat yourself at times. An occasional ice cream or frozen yogurt is fine, but you just don&#8217;t want to make it a daily habit.</p>
<p>We all know the old saying about how you are eating for two when you are pregnant. Yes, that is true in one sense, but that doesn&#8217;t mean you should use this as an excuse to eat everything in site. Not only is that not healthy, but you will have a real fight in trying to take the excess weight off after you have your baby. The average woman only needs an extra 300 calories per day to maintain a healthy pregnancy.</p>

Below you will find 8 healthy eating tips you should know about.<br/><br/>1. Eat all your foods as close to their natural state as possible. Most people overcook their food, specially their vegetables. For example, most people peel their potatoes before they cook them. Potatoes in particular should never be peeled for the most valuable elements lie directly under or in the skin.<br/><br/>2. Get your vitamins and minerals naturally, not from &#8220;enriched&#8221; products. Nature has provided an abundant supply of vitamins and minerals in foods in their raw state. If you have not destroyed them by peeling or overcooking, you will receive an adequate supply so long as you eat a rational diet. The so called enriched foods have already been devitalized. The mere addition of a chemical equivalent of the necessary vitamins and minerals does not compensate for the loss of natural food elements.<br/><br/>3. Use fruits and vegetables immediately after cutting. The Vitamin C content of fruits and vegetables is lost at an extremely fast rate once the vegetables fibers have been cut or bruised.<br/><br/>4. Don&#8217;t throw away the water used for cooking your vegetables. Drink it, or save it for tomorrow&#8217;s soup. Such water is rich in the vitamins extracted from the vegetables during the cooking process.<br/><br/>5. Don&#8217;t skip meals to reduce. Your body requires regular and frequent supplies of energy. In reducing your weight, it is not how much or how often you eat that counts, but what foods you choose and how well you chew them.<br/><br/>6. Eat a good breakfast. Coming as it does at the start of a new day and after fourteen or more hours without nutrition, breakfast is a means of replenishing your energy and strength. It will help carry you through some of the busiest and most demanding hours of your day. If you want to reduce, choose a salad instead of a heavy meal at lunch time, but only after eating a nourishing, balanced breakfast.<br/><br/>7. Eat some organic food every day. Include at least one food that is organically grown in your daily diet. It would be ideal if all the fruits and vegetables we consumed were organically grown, but there are not enough organic farmers to supply us with all our needs. The next best thing is to include at least one food that has been organically grown. They will provide the final link with natural nutrition which each of us must maintain.<br/><br/>8. Cook vegetables quickly and in very little water. The value of food, which is created in the growing process, is easily destroyed in the process of cooking. All foods should be cooked far less than is the habit in most homes today. When you wake up and you have been without food many hours, it&#8217;s important to supply your body with a complex healthy nutrition that set your metabolism into action and <br />gives you a consistent energy supply throughout the day.<br/><br/>2. Avoid bad sugars<br/><br/>Try to avoid processed and refined sugar that can be found in sweets and soft drinks. Taking it too much, could be unhealthy and can cause diseases such as diabetes and obesity. All that contain simple sugars, you will risk to gain overweight. Complex carbohydrates are a better energy source because they supply an even level of blood sugar.<br/><br/>3. Drink plenty of water<br/><br/>Remember to drink plenty of water throughout the day! You should drink at least 80 ounces of water each day, or if you are a highly active, drink twice that much. Highly active persons should drink approximately in every 30 min, to ensure a good fluid balance. Try to replace a high calorie drinks with plain water. That way you will save yourself from extra calories.<br/><br/>4. Eat 5-6 small meals<br/><br/>Eat at least 5 meals per day in every 2 to 3 hours. This can really help to boost your metabolism and help you to get flat stomach faster, you won&#8217;t be as hunger when eating 3 BIG meals per day. Eating smaller meals each day gives the body a steady supply of energy and prevents binge eating and also keeps your blood sugar level balanced.<br/><br/>5. Eat lot&#8217;s of fruits and vegetables<br/><br/>Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables each day. The benefits are, you don&#8217;t have to worry about getting too much calories, because they are low-calorie foods and they include the required vitamins, fibers and antioxidants. As an example, I would include, green veggies, berries, pineapple and soy beans (rich in amino acid) in your daily diet.<br/><br/>6. Do not skip meals<br/><br/>Skipping meals is also bad, because it has an effect to slower your metabolism. It is an opposite than many people think. When people think, that eating less is better when it comes to weight loss, they are seriously wrong!
